Child Safety Standards

GreyLens Social ("we", "our", or "us") is a voice-first dating application exclusively for adults. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy against any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. This page describes our standards, prevention measures, and reporting procedures.

1. Minimum Age Requirement

Registration requires users to provide their date of birth. We verify that every account holder is at least 18 years old at the time of sign-up. Accounts that appear to belong to minors are immediately suspended and deleted. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

2. Zero Tolerance for CSAE

GreyLens Social strictly prohibits all content, communications, and conduct that constitutes or facilitates child sexual abuse and exploitation, including but not limited to:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
• Grooming, solicitation, or sexual communication directed at minors
• Sharing, distributing, or requesting explicit material involving minors
• Any attempt to use the platform to exploit, harm, or abuse children

Violations result in immediate and permanent account termination. We preserve all relevant evidence and report to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and equivalent agencies in India such as the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).

3. Content Moderation

Automated Scanning

All profile photos and user-uploaded images are automatically scanned using Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch API. Any image flagged as containing explicit or harmful content involving minors is rejected immediately, the upload is blocked, and the account is flagged for review.

Human Review

Our moderation team reviews accounts reported by users for any suspected violation of our child safety policies. Suspicious accounts are suspended pending investigation and removed if a violation is confirmed.

Profile Voice Notes

Audio content is reviewed in response to user reports. Any audio content that appears to constitute CSAE is removed, and the account is terminated and reported to authorities.

4. In-App Reporting

Every user profile includes a prominent Report button. Users can report any account for child safety concerns, including suspected minors or CSAE content. Reports are processed by our moderation team on a priority basis. We encourage users to report any suspicious behaviour immediately.

5. Age Verification

We use the following measures to verify user age:

• Date of birth collected at registration; users under 18 are blocked from proceeding
• Optional selfie verification reviewed by our team to confirm the account holder appears to be an adult
• Phone number OTP verification required for all accounts

6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

GreyLens Social cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities investigating any CSAE-related complaints. We respond promptly to lawful requests and preserve account data as required by applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and the POCSO Act, 2012.

Upon discovering or receiving a credible report of CSAM, we:

• Immediately remove the content and suspend the account
• Preserve all associated account data, logs, and evidence
• Report to NCMEC CyberTipline (for global reports) and NCPCR / local authorities (for India)
• Provide all preserved data to law enforcement upon receipt of a valid legal request

7. Staff Awareness and Training

All team members with access to user-generated content are informed of our child safety policies and trained to recognise and escalate CSAE-related content promptly. Moderation workflows are designed to prioritise child safety reports.

8. Continuous Improvement

We regularly review our child safety measures and update our policies, tooling, and moderation practices to remain aligned with best practices and applicable law. We are committed to ongoing improvement of our CSAE prevention and response capabilities.
